Our Cause

GBP aims to raise public awareness and to improve the educational disadvantages poor children experience everyday in Latin America.

More than 100 million children in Latin America lack the basic supplies needed to attend school each day. Living in extreme poverty, many communities lack the funding needed to buy books and school supplies for their students. As a result, the children must provide their own backpacks and school supplies.

However, living on less than a few dollars a day makes it almost impossible for their parents to afford their children with so much as a pencil to write with.

This is a contributing factor to the high dropout rates in Latin American schools. Most of these children end up working alongside their parents in harsh conditions, growing up uneducated and perpetuating the cycle of poverty that keeps them from getting ahead.

Through our GBP brand, Give Back a Pack creates fun and wearable products to help promote & support education by calling the public to action.
