Our Story

Give Back a Pack is more than a business

Give Back a Pack (GBP) is more than just a company - it's a social movement.

Implicit in our company's name, the purchase of our backpacks, t-shirts, and wristbands gives back to people who are in desperate need of educational support.

Every GBP product sold goes towards providing a child in a third world country with a backpack filled with school supplies. Equipped with the proper tools, they stand a much better chance to complete their education and bring their communities out of poverty.

How did Give Back a Pack start?

How Did It Start

After traveling to Colombia and witnessing the extreme poverty in Latin America first hand, friends Renzo Pisa and Nicholas Kling were inspired to take action.

Originally, the pair set out to collect school supplies and distribute them to impoverished schools in Colombia. After doing so, they decided to take it a step further.

This is how the 'Gear up, Give Back' concept came about. By producing, marketing, branding and selling their own GBP products, Nick and Renzo discovered a way to reach a much larger audience and significantly increase the amount of supplies that would reach the children in need.

Gear up, Give Back.

You wear, you give

It's that simple! Give Back a Pack does the giving for you by donating backpacks and school supplies to children in communities that are not equipped to do so. Wearing our gear shows your support for education and philanthropy on a global scale.
